 Startrails Fan Fiction

A very good friend, who's work deserves to be read in it's entirety without paging from message to message.

Please note: Any mistakes on these story pages are all mine and not Startrails.

Title: “The Halloween Party
Rating: 13/Humor/Shipper
Summary: The gang from JAG has a little fun for Halloween, with shipper moments for good measure. (Even better than chocolate and other holiday goodies!)
Written: Sat Nov 2, 2002
Title: “Present Tense
Summary: My take on what should’ve happened in part of the episode “Past Tense.” (I guess you could call it a “missing moment,” to use another author’s term.) Renee doesn’t understand what Harm needs, but someone else does...
Classification/Rating: Shipper/romance. 13.
Spoilers: Anything up to and including “Past Tense.”
AUTHOR’S NOTE: I switch between Harm and Mac’s POV. Hope it isn’t too confusing, but I don’t think you’ll have any trouble knowing who’s head we’re inside. Also, I know Harm doesn’t have a TV, but for the sake of this story, let’s say he does.

Title: “Eternity
Rating: 13, Romance/Humor
Summary: A night spent relaxing with friends opens Harm and Mac’s eyes and gives them the push they need to confront the emotions they’ve avoided for so long. They do so in a very shipper way.
Spoilers: Anything through “Adrift Part II”
AUTHOR’S NOTE: This takes place after Adrift II, but for my purposes in this work, Sturgis doesn’t exist. (Sorry, I just don’t have enough of a handle on him to write him well, so I’d rather not write him at all. That is a lame excuse, since I know nothing about Carolyn Imes, but she’s in here anyway.) Harm and Renee are still together (though not for long...). Mac did not go away on TAD, but Mic has gone back to Australia.
Special note: as an aspiring author of things that don’t concern JAG characters, I feel I need to give credit where credit is due, even for the little things. The phrase “since time immemorial” comes from Gabriel Garcia Marquez’ One Hundred Years of Solitude. And the line that starts with “can we find a place” is a takeoff on something from the movie Children of a Lesser God, which if you haven’t seen, I HIGHLY recommend.)

Subject: “Christmas Angels
Rating: 13
Spoiler: Season 8 events, and one quick reference to All Ye Faithful.
Summary: A very loose adaptation of the Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol, with touches of Capra. (My “ghosts” are more like guardian angels.) Harm comes to his senses, with a “little help from his friends.” Aside from the one quick reference, this has nothing to do with AYF, but is set at Christmas 2002. Also, with respect to K. Klatte, author of “Harm’s Christmas Carol.” I got the idea to write this a while ago, and read hers first to make sure I didn’t inadvertently plagiarize anything. I must say, my ideas were pretty different, except for one, which you’ll recognize if you read hers. He was a big enough part of my story that I couldn’t leave him out.

Title: “Sudden Impact
Rating: 13 for language
Spoiler: Impact (The one where Mac leaves JAG)
Summary: I saw the episode Impact on USA Network the other day, and I couldn’t resist. Just a little vignette I cooked up this afternoon. What if Harm had done the right thing *years* ago?
AUTHOR’S NOTES:1. Impact aired in season 3 or 4, so most of the nitty gritty of H&M’s relationship hadn’t happened yet. (Mic, Renee, Harm leaving JAG, etc.) So this might seem really quick for Harm to be doing this, but we all knew he fell in love the minute they met anyway! *wink*
2. The line “I know enough about you to want to learn all the rest” is from a movie or TV show I saw a long time ago. Can’t remember what it was, but don’t sue me. I take no credit for it. (I think it was the Superman show with Dean Cain, possibly second in command in “yum” factor to DJE.)

Title: “Rose Garden Redux
Rating: 13
Spoiler: The infamous Rose Garden scene in We the People, and the general childhood histories of the characters.
Summary: My last fic was set in the future. This time around, I thought I’d try the past. Harm and Mac’s first meeting, long before the Rose Garden.
AUTHOR’S NOTES: Sorry if I got any of the dates or little facts wrong. This is fiction, let’s not nitpick. ;) (Did they have F-14s in 1981? If not, let’s pretend they did.)
*Somewhere in the back of my mind, I remember seeing a fic where Trish introduced Harm and Mac to each other. I didn’t read the whole thing b/c I got distracted and never got around to going back to it. So I apologize if this bears any resemblance to that, but with the exception of the introduction, there’s no reason it should. I don’t remember the title or the author, sorry.
This idea’s been swimming in the back of my mind for a while, and it finally nagged me enough to sit and write it. Hope you enjoy!

Title: “Untitled Flashfic
Rating: 13
Summary: Just a very quick bit that occurred to me after tonight’s ep.
Spoilers: “Lawyers, Guns, and Money”
AUTHOR’S NOTES: No, this is not the big story I’ve been working on. This is just a short piece inspired by last night’s episode. Can you figure out who’s POV it is? :)

Title: “Admiral “A.J.“
Rating: 13 for language.
Spoilers: A TANGLED WEBB If you have not seen the episode, this won’t make any sense.
Summary: What the Admiral and Harriet were thinking after their “talk” in his office
AUTHOR’S NOTES: Told from Harriet & AJ’s POVs. I could’ve killed AJ last night, so here goes a little justification.

Title: “The Slumber Party
Rating: 13    *Note: 17 version can be located on the Under the Covers website* UTC is linked
Spoiler: Anything is fair game. References to some of our fave shipper moments.
Summary: Harm. Mac. A slumber party. And a surprise.
AUTHOR’S NOTES: My Harm is slightly out of character here. (In a good way.) I know he wouldn’t normally act like this, but this is just a story, and it’s how I *wish* he would act!
*Special thanks to Becky, my beta reader. She caught some errors that would have made you LOL.

I was at the office vending machine and found a little inspiration…

Title: “The Journey of Love and Destiny
Rating: 13
Spoiler: A Tangled Webb and one line from Lawyers, Guns & Money
Summary: A re-telling of the episode, in the style of Gabriel García Marquez. (aka StarTrails opens up the can of whoop-ass she likes to call her creative writing degree.)
A big thank you to my beta reader, lska!
