Summary Part 01: Bud’s injury affects Harm and Mac much more strongly than TPTB would have us believe. The upstanding Cdr. Rabb takes a little fall, but as always, his relationship with Mac gets him through.
Summary Part 02: A sequel to Under the Stars. The closeness that developed between Harm and Mac grows into something more. Meanwhile, the Admiral faces a personal tragedy that rallies together the JAG family.

Summary: This is the first installment of a series in which I revisit some episodes, from Tiner’s point of view. They way I’ve imagined it, this is Tiner’s “journal.” I really think he would have an interesting perspective on things and wanted to make Tiner a little more three dimensional than we usually see him. (If you remember the show, think of this like Doogie Howser’s journal, that he wrote in at the end of every episode. If you are too young/old to know what Doogie Howser was like, feel free to email me and ask.)

Title: “Friends and Enemies”

Spoiler: Season 8 events, tiny reference to All Ye Faithful.
Summary Part 01: As 2002 comes to a close, thousands of miles apart, Harm and Mac help each other by way of helping their friends, and they start 2003 together, with no looking back.
Summary Part 02: A kind-of sequel to my last fic, Friends In Need, but you don’t need to have read that to understand this. (After all, “A friend in need is a friend indeed.”) Just know that Chloe and Sergei met for the first time on New Year’s Eve 2002/03, and Harm has made good on his promise to make Mac his wife before the end of 2003. In this part, a chance encounter leads to an interesting romance. Meanwhile, with their second child on the way, Harm and Mac’s marriage hits a few rough patches. (They did meet in a rose garden. There were bound to be some thorns.) Can they hold it together?
Summary Part 3: A little more Sergei and Chloe, a little more Webb and Terri Coulter, and a whole lotta Harm and Mac. Just when things are better than ever, someone from Harm’s past shows up to wreak havoc on him and his family.
AUTHOR’S NOTES PART 01: For the purpose of this story, Lt. Singer is not, and never was pregnant. And I don’t remember what Sergei’s Russian military status was when we last saw him, but for this, let’s say he’s no longer a soldier. I am a total sucker for a good, old-fashioned damsel in distress story, and who better to help her than my favorite alpha male/pilot/lawyer?
AUTHOR’S NOTES PART 02: General consensus seems to be that Sergei’s age is undefined. For my purposes, he’s 30 when this story starts, and nothing ever happened between him and Lt. Singer. Also, I’m pretty sure they don’t do any flight training at Norfolk, but let’s pretend they do. Just one more thing...for the ease of me not having to invent new celebrities, let’s say everyone who’s popular now is popular 5 years from now. (Creative license, it’s a beautiful thing.)
**This story is the brainchild of VB, who was inspired by a line in Friends in Need (when Sergei asks Mac if she has any sisters). So special thanks to her for envisioning a couple none of us would probably ever think to put together.
AUTHOR’S NOTES Part 03: 1. This is the third and final part in my series that began with Friends in Need. This one takes place just after Friends Indeed. To refresh your memories - Sergei and Chloe realized they are in love, and Webb and Terri Coulter have been together ever since the events in Afghanistan. (End of season 7.) Harm and Mac got married in 2003 and now have two children, Rosalyn and Victor (named after Gunny, who was killed on a mission.) Mac left the Marines to be a stay-at-home Mom, but she found it unfulfilling, so she now works part time at the Corps recruiting station.
2. For the purpose of this story, nothing ever happened between Singer and Sergei. And the episode Webb of Lies never happened, or at least, we never met Webb’s mother. (You’ll see why - please excuse the extreme personality I created for her, but I think it’ll be entertaining.)

Summary: Death Watch revisited, with an alternate, somewhat shipper ending.
AUTHOR’S NOTES: I’ve always thought the ending of Death Watch left something to be desired. Don’t get me wrong, it was a fantastic ep (especially since I never saw the “lost” episode Skeleton Crew). And who could complain about that kiss? But then they just walk back to their cars and that’s it? I think not... Anyway, I’ve written 2 versions of this, one focused on Harm, one on Mac. I originally wanted to write one from Harm’s POV and one from Mac’s, but they just weren’t working in first person. I tend to be descriptive, and no one I know is that self-aware. ;) Anyway, I wrote two because for some reason, I had a lot of trouble including both perspectives and making it flow smoothly. The two pieces describe the same action and are very similar, with most of the dialogue being the same. But there’s a big enough difference in what H&M were thinking that it warranted me writing both. And I’m shutting up now. Enjoy.

Disclaimer: I don’t own JAG. If I did, I’d be rich and famous and sipping a pina colada with a topless DJE on some tropical island right now. To give you some idea, what I am *actually* doing at the moment is rotting at my desk on Wall Street waiting for the next 4 hours to pass so I can go home. So I hope this tiny story makes your day a little brighter, as it has mine.
Summary: I watched “Soul Searching” on USA last night, and there was a line that just *begged* to be expanded, so here goes….
This picks up at the end of the scene where Harm and Mac are talking in one of their offices – can’t remember whose it was.
